Overview of the 2000-2001 ELISA consortium research activities

Abstract : This paper summarizes the research activities in speaker recognition in the framework of the ELISA consortium. The ELISA speaker recognition common platform is first presented, including the common evaluation protocol and the functioning of the consortium. Then experiments with this platform on the development data of the NIST 2001 speaker recognition campaign are reported. Finally, a survey of the research directions in the various ELISA laboratories is given.
