Présence de Julien de Tolède dans le Liber glossarum

Abstract : This paper aims to review the presence of chapters on defects and qualities of speech from Julian of Toledo‘s grammar in the Liber glossarum, based on the latter‘s new edition. In the introduction, we briefly recall the history of this question. It is established in the first part that Julian remains the youngest known author to have been used in the LG. In a second part, we review the state of the art on the connection between Julian‘s manuscript tradition and the LG. In a third and last part, we study the transformation of Julian‘s text into dictionary entries in the LG.
