PhotoRhône : Elaboration d’une photothèque participative à l’échelle du corridor rhodanien (Retour d’expériences et préconisations)

Abstract : The goal of the PhotoRhône project is to develop a crowd-sourced photographic library of the Rhône River corridor for the “Observatoire Homme-Milieu de la Vallée du Rhône”. This interactive tool 1) will be made accessible from the OHM VR website (http://ohm-vr.org/) and 2) will provide an image database for recreational, informational and scientific purposes relevant to citizens as well as research scholars in ecology or in social or heritage science. This tool will allow anyone to upload pictures taken in the field from a smartphone application or via the website itself. The practical value of this type of tool will be tested in the context of thematic events organized with a junior school class, a science festival, or with the staff and visitors to a local nature reserve, and would deal with topics such as the beauty of the Rhône River, or its hazards, or trees of the riverbank, or riverine landscape features, etc...).
