Discussing on the origins of symbolism from the latest paleoanthropological research: the case of Homo naledi

Résumé

From an historical-critical comparison of some data and certain results coming from paleoanthropology and neurosciences, we would like to do some possible remarks and putting forward some simple suggestions about the early origins of symbolic function starting from the recent discovery of a new species of the genus Homo, called Naledi.
