From 1989 till 1992 he was a Research Fellow with the Belgian National Fund for Scientific Research (FWO) at the Institute of Nuclear Physics (UCL Louvain-la-Neuve and K.U.Leuven) and at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (USA), 1960.
