CBR approach for knowledge reuse in a Community of Practice for university students

Student motivation can be enhanced by positive social interactions, which can be found in CoPs (Communities of Practice), they’re based on the idea of interacting to improve a shared practice. The community offers the ability to move beyond simple information exchange to meaningful knowledge exchange. This paper describes the design of an online environment used as a support to a community of practice of students in higher education. Including community interactions using a social networking tool and community knowledge reuse using the CBR approach.
