Sampling and amplification technique based on XPM-induced focusing in normally dispersive optical fibers

Résumé

We theoretically and experimentally investigate an all-optical amplification and sampling technique based on a XPM process between an arbitrary signal and an intense orthogonally polarized high repetition rate sinusoidal pump wave within a normally dispersive optical fiber.
