Les « pays émergents » : émergence, croissance ou maturité du thème dans la recherche en management international ? Une étude bibliométrique

Abstract : This article aims to identify the articles, authors and themes, which have had the greatest impact on the research focused on emerging economies in the international management literature. The methodology used in this article is based on bibliometric techniques. Our bibliometric study focuses on articles published in the major academic journals in the field of international management over the last four decades. We analyze a total of 1,142 published articles written by 1,809 different authors, and a total of 40,295 references. The findings allow a better understanding of the content and quantitative evolution of research on emerging economies.
