High frequency vibration influence on heat transfer
Résumé
The effect of hight frequency vibration on the flow and temperature fields is studied numerically for two configurations: a two-dimensional square cavity and an axisymmetrical liquid zone, subject to an external temperature gradient. The mean fields of velocity and temperature are determined by means of a finite-element method, respectively. The characteristics of the flow and heat transfer are found to be strongly dependent on the vibrational parameters
