Abstract : SAFESPOT is an Integrated Project co-funded by the European Commission, under the strategic initiative “eSafety Cooperative Systems for Road Transport”. The Goal of SAFESPOT is to understand how intelligent vehicles and intelligent roads can cooperate to produce a breakthrough in road safety. The method covers the needs of the European global approach around ITS development and harmonization, and introduces different steps to ensure consistency of the different diagrams and definition produced.
