Geometrical Methods for Integrable Systems of Hydrodynamic Type

Abstract : In this talk, I will present a geometric interpretation of some integrable systems of hydrodynamic type. This approach, initiated by Arnold can be used to obtain non trivial analytical results for certain PDE which in turn can be viewed as standard ODE.
