Travail collaboratif situé pour l’ingénierie. Quels aspects à prendre en compte ?

Abstract : In this paper we discuss the priorities to take into account during the deployment of a situated collaborative system working in the field of engineering. Our goal is to cover the entire process referred as the design, construction or acceptance by integrating all the necessary tools for design, calculation, management, etc. This process is typically well structured broadly with steps and/or clearly defined phases. However at the detailed level in order to take into account the creativity and agility it is important to refine the modeling and to propose a suitable support. The objective is to include clearly defined roles of the actors with the details of the access permissions to the data handled as well as where, when and how they can intervene and how to organize the collaborative aspect between actors (synchronous or asynchronous intervention) and the level of involvement. The adjective “situated”, of collaborative work, expresses the possibility to place the process on the intervention site (eg construction site) and to take into account the context (location-based, mobile tools of management and control, etc.). After explanation of the problem, we do a rapid tour of used approaches, and then we present our approach and its application on a concrete situation.
