Le polymorphisme des hypocoristiques en sarde
Résumé
This paper describes the polymorphism of Sardinian hypocoristics. This analysis, based on approximately 1000 tokens of first names, shows that Sardinian hypocoristics and especially reduplicated hypocoristics obey morphophonological and expressive constraints. The same type of constraints for hypocoristics formation occurs in other languages and this fact points to the emergence of many more general tendencies beyond linguistic and dialectal variation.
