Generation of surface steps on Pt(977) induced by the catalytic oxidation of CO

Abstract : The catalytic oxidation of CO has been sure and elevated temperature. It has stoichiometric proportion of reactants itself, being most abundant when the investigated on the stepped Pt(9 77) surface at near ambient presbeen found that the reactivity is maximum at approximately the and that surface monoatomic steps are generated by the reaction reaction proceeds with maximum efficiency.
