Multiscale characterizations of proton conduction in La1.95Sr0.05Zr2O7-d electrolyte for protonic ceramic fuel cells

Résumé

The pyrochlore structure materials have attracted much attention for solid electrolyte fuel cells, which may be served as mixed ionic-electronic conductors for anode materials or proton conductors for electrolyte materials. Their mechanism for ionic conductivity is based on the presence of oxygen deficiency. Moreover, it is possible to induce interesting protonic conduction under wet atmosphere. A multi-scale approach was used in this study to characterize the doped La1,95Sr0,05Zr2O7-d. The hydrogen profile was established by nuclear microanalysis and the diffusion coefficient was estimated from impedance spectroscopy measurement.
