Etude du contrôle du point de vue 3D à partir de la tête et des épaules

Abstract : 3D designers frequently need to change the viewpoint when manipulating 3D objects. To reduce the cost of switching between primary (object creation) and secondary tasks (viewpoint control), we propose to use head and shoulders motion input as an additional channel for controlling the movement of the camera. We report on an elicitation study to understand how users spontaneously assign torso motions (head and shoulders) to these four types of camera controls in desktop settings.
