The Mazur principle give simple conditions for an irreducible unramified F l-representation coming from a modular form of level Γ 0 (N p) to come for some modular form of level Γ 0 (N). The aim of this work is to give a generalization of this principle en higher dimension for the group U (n, 1) studying the cohomology of Shimura varieties of Kottwitz-Harris-Taylor type.

Le principe de Mazur fournit des conditions simples pour qu'une F l-représentation irréductible non ramifiée provenant d'une forme modulaire de niveau Γ 0 (N p) provienne aussi d'une forme de niveau Γ 0 (N). L'objectif de ce travail est de proposer une généralisation de ce principe en dimension supérieure pour le groupe U (n, 1) via la cohomologie des variétés de Shimura dites de Kottwitz-Harris-Taylor.
