Abstract : In contemporary arts many non conventional instruments, devices and technologies are used so as many new way of interaction man-machine to produce new artistic works. When introducing electro-acoustics, artists did not realize the risk not to be able to re-perform their works a few years later. In the framework of CASPAR European project, the On Line Service Team at IRCAM proposes the result of its own research for trying to save artistic works from obsolescence and to support future developments.
