A Human Rights Assessment of the World Summit on the Information Society

Abstract : Assesses the outcomes of the first phase of the World Summit on Information Society (WSIS) in Geneva, Switzerland in December 2003. Human rights issues that the WSIS Declaration of Principles failed to address; Criticisms against the WSIS Plan of Action; Information on the human rights section of the Civil Society Declaration which was established at the WSIS.
