In-situ tensile tests of ceramic matrix composites.
Résumé
In-situ tensile tests of ceramic matrix composites. Tensile in-situ tests have evidenced a strengthening of the longitudinal yams with transverse and longitudinal matrix microcracking in the case of C-f -SiC and SiCf -SiBC composites. After fracture, the longitudinal yams recover their previous shape and the mainly transverse microcracks become closed.
