Translittératie: A New Way for Digital, Knowledge and Media Education in France

Résumé

Media education is somehow "the ability to access, understand and create communications in a variety of contexts" (Buckingham, 2006). Today, the omnimedia (Google and co) change the situation and we have to reconsider the complex process of education itself, at school, particularly. In France, different research groups and institutions try to take into account this convergence context. This presentation explores these projects and provides an institutional and theoretical analysis of them.
