Perspectives pour l’éducation émotionnelle en milieu scolaire

Abstract : Understanding the emotional dimensions in play in risk behaviours provides an opportunity to measure the importance of certain types of prevention actions which are based on these dimensions. Yet these actions are still too little known and developed in France, in particular in health education in school settings. If prevention of risk behaviours undoubtedly needs to rely on multiple interventions, it also seems essential to integrate emotional education. We shall therefore focus on psychological vulnerability factors and in particular on emotional factors linked to risk behaviours. We shall then put forward the importance of promoting emotional education, particularly in school settings, and developing research on the impact of such actions.
