Bibliometric analysis of mangrove literature from 2001 to 2012

The present study on bibliometric analysis of mangrove reveals that 6331 authors have contributed 3089 articles during 2001 to 2012. Results indicate that highest numbers of papers have been written by co-authors. The mangrove literature was covered by 828 journals among which "Estuarine Coastal and Shelf Science" journal stands first with 132 articles. This paper explores the highly cited authors and cited papers from mangrove literature. The h-index of mangrove literature is 53.
