Survey of Synchronization Algorithms: Wireless Sensor Networks Case Study

Résumé

Time synchronization becomes in recent years as a part and parcel for any distributed system such as sensors networks. Many applications of sensors networks need local clocks of sensors nodes to be synchronized and keep synchronization between sensors in order to communicate with each other via radio links for sharing and treatment of reliable information. The key point of consideration in this article is to examine and evaluate the most important synchronization algorithms based on a set of factors like energy efficiency, mobility and complexity
