Passive UHF RFID Tag For vehicle identification and localization

Résumé

The growth of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology provides countless ideas for new applications. A new passive UHF RFID tag antenna having a low cost and intended for vehicle localization is presented. The design methodology of this UHF RFID tag and the measurement of the chip impedance are introduced. A novel measurement technique based on a LRL calibration is proposed for the RFID chip impedance measurement. Finally, the new structure and results are presented.
