De la mesure aux hypothèses explicatives : regard sur 15 ans d’oubli

Abstract : The study of a large body of research literature devoted to competitive intelligence shows a ratio of one to ten between the use of the word communication and the use of the word information. This proves the very low attention paid to communication by the authors. Three hypotheses are formulated to explain the virtual absence of communication in this line of research : the quantitative dominance of professional texts, the important research conducted outside the CIS and the disciplinary origins of researchers in CIS prevailing on this subject.
