Characterisation of the wavelength dependence of a multi-transducer acousto-optic switch

We present the optical wavelength dependence of a multi-transducer acousto-optic switch developed in our laboratory over the 1500 nm-1600 nm range. We discuss the influence of both the diffraction efficiency and the coupling efficiency on the switch insertion losses.
