Zinc complexes in OLEDs: An overviewFrédéric
Résumé
tIn the course of developing low-cost organic light-emitting devices (OLEDs) while facilitating the man-ufacturing process, the search for new emitters based on abundant, inexpensive, and nontoxic metalcomplexes is of crucial importance. In this aim, Zn(II) complexes appeared as a potential alternativeto expensive transition metals complexes based on iridium, platinum, or osmium. This review aims atreporting the different zinc complexes that have been investigated to date in devices and to determinethe electroluminescence specificity related to these complexes.
