Non planar surfaces, multimodal images and mathematical morphology

Résumé

Confocal microscopy allows to obtain the topography of non planar surfaces. Some previous publications are related to the image of altitudes. In this paper, one intends to use complementary information, such as the mean curvature and the gaussian curvature. The analysis of the research from significant points was made using several modes (luminance, mean and gaussian curvatures) selected by watershed transformation using h-min as markers. To conclude, one presents an example of application that allows to obtain a larger image from small images with partial overlap.
