Integral representation of Dirac distribution using the Tsallis q-exponential function

Jauregui and Tsallis have recently given a new integral representation of the Dirac distribution in terms of q-exponential function, generalizing the well-known representation in plane waves. We prove rigorously this result using the analytical representation of Schwartz distributions and the tools of complex analysis.
