Modernité aiguë et minorité
Résumé
What becomes the members of minorities for the period of globalization and uncertainty which characterizes our time of "acute modernity"? They often pass from the denial of themselves to the assertion of their identity, without always reaching - it is notably the case in Brittany - to leave the feelings for the reflection and the building of an identity-project. Everywhere today, the social relations dissociate from their context; however, in a global world, the collective identities also tend to be recomposed. Globalization makes obsolete the idea of a world constituted by closed and homogeneous state societies and incites to display imagination: what alternative to the national state could fit with a global society and allow a more equal integration of minorities?
Que devient le minoritaire dans la situation de globalisation et d'incertitude qui caractérise notre période de " modernité aiguë " ? Il passe souvent du reniement de soi à l'affirmation identitaire, sans toujours parvenir -- c'est notamment le cas en Bretagne -- à quitter le registre des émotions pour celui de la réflexion et de la construction d'une identité-projet. Partout aujourd'hui, les relations sociales se dissocient de leur contexte ; toutefois, dans un monde global, les identités collectives ont aussi tendance à se recomposer. La globalisation rend obsolète l'idée d'un monde constitué d'espaces stato-nationaux clos et homogènes et incite à faire preuve d'imagination : quelles alternatives à l'État-nation peut-on envisager dans une société civile globale où les minorités seraient intégrées de façon plus égalitaire ?
