ENFANTS PRIMO-ARRIVANTS OU ISSUS DE L'IMMIGRATION : DES ENJEUX D'INCLUSION DIFFERENTS MAIS BIEN REELS

Abstract : The inclusive approach does not change the fundamentals of school democratization but it is pragmatic and pays attention to consequences. In other words, it regulates education on the basis of evidence, mainly from pupils whose marks or well-being are lower than expected. Newly arrived immigrants and secong generation children are two such categories. The paper shows their respective positions in education and concludes by focusing on the delicate use of social categories in the inclusive approach
