Control of non-smooth systems by non-smooth nonlinear energy sinks

Energy pumping [1, 2] between a non-smooth master system which is coupled to a non-smooth nonlinear energy sink (NES) under impulse loadings is studied analytically and numerically. Further stability analysis of the system and important factors on the efficient energy pumping is pinpointed and discussed.
