Synthesis and Realizations of Miniaturized Fractal Microwave and RF Filters", Int. Workshop on Microwave Filters
Résumé
This paper shows how fractal iterations applied to microwave resonators lead to RF and microwave filters with reduced size, improved selectivity and stopband rejections. The dual mode filter further reduces the size of the filter by using two modes of resonances. In this case, it is possible to obtain a forth order filter with transmission zeros on both sides of the passband using only two resonators. The results of this paper regarding the synthesis of pseudo-elliptic filters and the use of fractal iterations can be extended to other technologies with better insertion losses such as micromachining, superconductivity and LTCC technology
