The structure is inhomogeneous, viscoelastic and linear and occupies a bounded domain. The internal inhomogeneous fluid is compressible and occupies a bounded domain. The external homogeneous fluid is compressible and inviscid. The structure and the internal fluid are analyzed by the finite element method and the external fluid by an integral equation method. An applictaion is described, and the numerical predictions are compared with experimental results.
