La socialisation démocratique, un descripteur de l'activité enseignante ?

Abstract : We are interested here in the question of the analysis of the situations, the practices, the actions and the work, in a perspective of democratic socialization. Does this concept of "democratic socialization" turn out operating when it is a question of reporting actors' singular logics, or of interpreting educational situations? This relevance is put to the test, through the analysis of a singular moment of class. The chosen example is a conflict between a teacher novice and some pupils. This conflict has for origin the decision which takes teacher to shorten a physical educational session, after a violent quarrel between two pupils. The return in class is thus made earlier than planned. This is when takes place the episode of conflict which interests us. This moment was filmed. It gave rise to an autoconfrontation which informs us about the way the teacher perceives and interprets this moment.
