Trend Analysis
Résumé
This chapter addresses the problem of reliability growth analysis; it shows how reliability trend analyses can help the project manager control the progress of the development activities and appreciate the efficiency of the test programs. Reliability trend changes occur for various reasons. They may be desirable and expected (such as reliability growth due to fault removal) or undesirable (slowing down of testing effectiveness, for example). Identification at time of the latter allows the project manager to make the appropriate decisions in order to avoid problems which may surface later.
