Work Plan of Digitizing Chinese Photographic Plates

Résumé

Supported by Ministry of of Science and Technology of China, the project of digitizing Chinese photographic plates starts from April of 2012 and will last 5 years. Over 30000 plates covering different kinds of objects, such as binaries, variable stars, radio stars, asteroids, comets, extragalactic galaxies, and so on, will be scanned by a special scanner with high precision astrometry and photometry. The initial work plan of this project is introduced. Collaboration with colleagues with good experience on this field is necessary.
