Abstract : Sterilization services are vulnerable to risks, due to the contagious nature of their environment and to the degradation that risks can cause to the safety of patients and staff. In relation to this issue, our work aims to reduce the risk level of these services, in order to improve their toughness and their behavior in degraded mode. We develop here a risk model for sterilization services, using a model driven approach. Then we show the relevance of such an approach by comparing it to the conventional approach. This model represents a first step towards a generic model of risk in different sterilization services.
