La recherche-intervention comme mode d'approche des pratiques

Abstract : The development of research related to teaching practice and the importance given to context in education research legitimate to a certain extent the development of "intervention research". After having situated the emergence of the notion starting from a socio-historical analysis of the "action-research", this article tries to clarify the cooperative relations that take place between research, teacher training and intervention. These relations are defined through a secondary comparative analysis of two research works that are embedded in this dynamic. As practices, research and intervention anchor themselves in systems of actions altogether situated and oriented and which settle the subjective/objective opposition (Kohn, 1998), thus facilitating certain stages in research procedures but requiring extreme vigilance as regards other aspects.
