The following study looks at the conjectural meaning of the French and Spanish future tense. The goal of this study us two-fold : first, it analyses the conjectural meaning and the criteria that trigger its apparition in Speech. Second, given that both tenses have the same origin and a similar construction it explains the differences of use for the future tense in these two languages.
