La Company de Generación Eléctrica Machupicchu S.A. counts in its infrastructure of operation with lines, transforming, generators and cables, the same that are watched over protective devices of digital electronic nature; these same ones, for their periodic control require of tests with the object of corroborating their effectiveness. The equipment that is used nowadays for this intention is with microprocessor able to store specific testing programs for each type of device. To have pre-established and proven algorithms makes agile and optimizes the management of maintenance of the substations. The present work this oriented to the accomplishment of algorithms of test for protection relays of the Company de Generación Eléctrica Machupicchu S.A. of such way to realize the tests to the relays of automatic way and to manage to reduce the times, as well as to count on clear and safe reports of the maintenances, these algorithms is realized for the different types from relays on which it counts EGEMSA and were developed in the Software AVTS that jointly works with the equipment PULSAR.
