Micro-indentation et couplage essais-calculs pour l'identification par méthode inverse du comportement mécanique non linéaire du cartilage fémoral humain

Résumé

The main objective of this study was to identify different models of mechanical behavior and associated parameters of hip femoral cartilage in order to use them in predictive calculations of finite element type. Experimental data were obtained using micro-indentation instrumentalized tests on unfrozen femoral cartilage collected and studied in the day following total or intermediary prosthetic hip surgery pose. A finite element model of these tests was coupled with an inverse method used to identify material parameters of three models of behavior: elastic, hyperelastic and viscoelastic. The results correlate with experimental results and are in agreement with the literature (animal and human frozen cartilage). The mechanical properties of cartilage have been correctly identified. The best results were obtained with the viscoelastic model. However, it would be interesting to extend our study taking into account the anisotropy and multilayered structure of the material.
