Optical sensor of salt concentration: uncertainty evaluation

Abstract : We report on the uncertainty upon the concentration of NaCl in an aqueous solution, as determined from the change in intensity of the OH band within a new Raman optical sensor. The various sources of errors are considered and the standard uncertainty is calculated. The accuracy of the sensor is discussed according to the application.
