Numerical modeling of eddy current nondestructive evaluation of ferromagnetic tubes via an integral equation approach.

Résumé

In this contribution a Volume Integral Equation (VIE) formulation for the modeling of eddy current Nondestructive Evaluation (NDE) of ferromagnetic tubes is proposed. The method is well suited for the simulation of NDE applications involving moving probes including Remote Field Eddy Current Effect (RFEC) probes. The proposed algorithm has been integrated in the CIVA platform.
