Résumé

To face QoS constraints of multimedia applications, many researches focus on improving the standard MANET routing protocols. Nevertheless, we find few works about the comparison of enhancement heuristics. In the literature dealing with this question, the comparison parameters are measured through simulations performed mainly under unrealistic conditions. In this paper, we compare BER-based enhancements of AODV and OLSR. Our performance evaluation heavily relies on simulation conducted under realistic wave propagation and mobility models. Mobility and multi-communication effects are thus evaluated. We point out that link quality, influenced by obstacles in the propagation field, should be taken into account in MANET routing protocols enhancement approaches.
