GPS passive bistatic radar system in oceanic environment: detection performance estimation

Résumé

Bistatic Radar systems are largely used in detection of targets. In this paper, the GPS (Global Positionning System) satellites constellation is chosen as emitters. The feasibility of such a system is studied and different scenarios are compared in a context of sea surface target detection. For that, resolution parameters are estimated using Point Spread Function (PSF)coming from the filling up of the frequency plan.
