Catalytic Aspects of Light-Induced Hydrogen Generation in Water with TiO2 and Other Photocatalysts: A Simple and Practical Way Towards a Normalization?

Résumé

Evaluation is discussed of performance of solid photocatalysts for H2 generation from H2O so that they can be compared in a simple way whether sacrificial soln. is used or not. The addnl. chem. potential present in a sacrificial soln. will be the same regardless of the catalyst system used, so differences in the photocatalytic activity remain meaningful. [on SciFinder(R)]
