Local Scrambling as EPP-driven movement

This paper deals with scrambling, i.e. the process deriving non-canonical word orders in free constituent languages. It is argued that scrambling in Czech is driven by EPP feature, which is a requirement on Spec-TP position to be filled by any overt or covert constituent.
