La méthode de Mikhaïl Tchekhov au théâtre et au cinéma
Résumé
M. Chekhov's Acting method (a ramification of Stanislavski System, crossed with eurythmics and Steiner's anthroposophy) was conceived and practiced for theatre. But as emigrant Chekhov finaly settled down in Hollywood, he had to adapt his method for film acting. Yul Brynner, Gregory Peck and Marylin Monroe will be his most famous pupils. The article focuses on the main notions with which acting principles for stage or film can be articulated.
La méthode de jeu de M. Tchekhov, ramification du Système de Stanislavski croisé avec l'eurythmie et la théorie anthroposophe de Rudolf Steiner, a été pensée et pratiquée d'abord au théâtre russe. Mais les pérégrinations de Tchekhov l'ayant conduit à Hollywood, il réussit à y adapter sa méthode pour le cinéma. Yul Brynner, Gregory Peck et Marylin Monroe seront parmi ses plus fameux élèves.
